This is a rich part of the milkyway, there are so many starclusters and nebulae to be seen, along with quite discernable dust lanes.


Rich isn't the word - if you just track down all the open clusters in Cassiopea that are shown in Norton's it will take you at least a full night's observing - it took me two nights with the 20" a while back. The longer you look, the more you see! Lovely image.

Well, quite simple really, I just carefully polar align my C8 ( I have it down to a fine art now :D ), with a full rechargeable battery in both the mount and camera, fire away ! The camera is just piggybacked on top of the scope. It's worked for me for years :wink:
