Getting 30fps from a webcam?

I don't get lines at 30fps if I don't ever turn up the gain full.
If I do when it resets the lines are there.
The were there on the 20'' alright but I got around it by having the gain set to
zero.
I only turned it up when you suggested it.
It helped the image quite a bit.

the lines you are getting at 30 fps

I think you should, you owe it to yourself. I see the lens is not included, but you have a one of them already! I notice that Anthony has just invested in a DMK Firewire webcam.
I looked at something similar by a company called Basler but couldn't get a price.
Btw where's the info on the webcam setup you offered?
