Quick Image and Movie of 8P/Tuttle was created by DaveGrennan
Guys a quick shot of 8P/Tuttle which does seem to be brightening quite nicely. 10 x 2 minutes subs. Guiding was done on a star with the comet nucleus used as the centroid for alignment.

Celestron 80EDF Onyx, ATIK16HRC, 22nd December 2007 under an almost full Moon.

I also made a movie out of the subs showing the comet move with respect to the background stars.

Very nicely done Dave, its definitely a fast one.
Did you look at it through the scope.
We had a look at it on Friday night and it looked quite faint.

Very nice Dave!
It's a real little rocket isnt it?
Boy it's faint though, we could just about see it the other night.
Is there a green colour or is it my eyes?

That's one small comet. Nice to see an Irish image of it too Dave.
