Michael,

I am dealing with an 8-bit image which is highly compressed. I am sure Kieran can squeeze out a serious amount of detail from his master 16-bit image.

This is a stunning DSO and deserves careful attention so as not to do it any disservice.

I do not mean to pester you but push the non-linear stretch a little more. I realize that some noise may creep in but it is only 40 minutes worth of data and, as such, it is to be expected.
