but what a way to go.
+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

Wow, I think that's my favourite image from you yet Gary. So much detail in there. Doesn't seem to have much of the classical 'redness' I would have thought the Halpha would have helped yield. Why would that be?

Seanie, the Halpha is assigned to the green layer, the OIII is assigned to the blue layer and the SII is assigned to the red, in CS2. This is the way some images from Hubble are produced, called the Hubble Palette.

Seanie, the Halpha is assigned to the green layer, the OIII is assigned to the blue layer and the SII is assigned to the red, in CS2. This is the way some images from Hubble are produced, called the Hubble Palette.
