Little Dumbell Nebula M 76 was created by eansbro
The seeing conditions were excellent here on the 5 January and just recently processed the image. This was the first time imaging this target using this telescope. This planetary nebula target I found quite difficult to image. The target is certainly not conspicuous. However, with multiple exposures to improve the SNR one can see the outer shell boundary.

Eamonn,
Thats one incredibly detailed image. Quite stunning actually. I've never seen this kind of detail in the little feller before.

Little!!, there ain't anything little about it. !!
The shape is familiar and is what you see visually, but the colours and detail is off the charts, an excellent image Eamonn, so you're getting more into the imaging side of things these days.
