Hey any of you guy's using one of those h-alpa insert filters for the cannon DSLR if so i'd like to here what your experience of using one is thanks,Declan

i dont have the H alpha one, but i do use the CLS insert filter.... and it works a treat!!!

Hey Steve i've ordered the cls filter and im thinking of going for the H-alpha just thought some of the members here might have used one but obviously not.So you reccomend the cls filter

Have you seen the price of SOME H-alpha filters?

One site i read said anything from 3000-50,000

Hey Paul there some prices your looking at.Fortunately Telescope Service have what im looking for at around 200 bucks a pop.

Even 200 sounds like a fortune for one filter to me...but if solar observing (i know the H-Alpha can be used for other stuff) is your thing...it is an essential.

I'm just happy to observe the sun safely with my DIY soalr filter without going blind.
