Constellation Auriga and Mars was created by Keith g
Hi all, what with the weather being as it is lately, I had a break in the clouds on thursday evening for an hour or so, and saw the planet Mars shining very brightly underneath Auriga. This constellation is full of messier clusters, nebulae, and dark dust lanes along the plane of the milkyway to the right of this image, Mars is at bottom, with Capella, Auriga's brightest star at top, consider it a practice shot :P

Canon 400D, 35mm 'L' lens at ISO800 F4, Stack of 4 4 minute exposures / 2 dark frames.
