Christmas Tree Cluster was created by wellbuttie
The Christmas Tree Cluster (also known as Open Cluster NGC 2264 or the Xmas Tree Cluster). The cluster is located about 2,600 light-years away from Earth. Taken with an unmodded Canon 350D, Sigma 170-500mm lens at 500mm, F5.6 ISO1600. Location: Cherrymount, Waterford

Wow! Some colours there Steve, even though it's a month late 
it's still a great shot ! I was looking at this area the other night in binoculars, but it is very hard to see the neblosity, you brought it out well !!

Beautiful image Steve. The colours are superb. I've never heard of this nebula/cluster, but I am glad I got your kind on introduction on it!
