More proms - 11th Feb

Howdy all,

Another set of lovely proms on the edge today. Not much surface detail that I could pick up in the vicinity but I included one shot with a merged disc area. These proms are massive! So much for solar minimum eh?

First two shots at F25 and 3rd one at F50 (but very soft). Registax had a really hard time trying to get the F50 version stacked - the image was jumping all over the place due to poor seeing.

Amazing proms there.

I'm really starting to get hooked on observing the sun even though right now to me it just looks like a big white/orange/yellow disk (depending on the colour filter i use). Cant wait to see if i can pick up any sun spots at a later date.
