I give up

Went out tonight to image Moon segment with Toucam with and without barlow good images got but registax would not load the images to stack.
Tried my brand new ATIK ccd could not see a dam thing.
I have a lump hammer & skip for all that hi-dollar crap Im using.
When's the next clear night ?? I give up :

Hey John,

Sorry to hear about your problems. It can be a frustrating hobby at times.
If Registax could not load your AVIs you can probably fix them by running them through AVI2RAW. You can download it here arnholm.org/astro/software/aviraw/

This has happened to me on more than a fe occassions. Loading the AVI in AVI2RAW and resaving it using "Normal" mode (i.e. not RAW Colour or RAW Luminosity) has always output an avi that can be read Registax.

If you're Toucam is set to RAW mode you should us RAW Colour and BG or GB (can't remember which).
