Hi Dave
As always, I do enjoy when you post new astropics, I especially like this one of the Moon , which has excellent clarity and contrast. Just a question Dave, how on Earth do you capture a mosaic of the Moon, is it complicated to accomplish for the novice astrophotographer, apart from good equipment I guess you need good software and technique to!

Dave,
A beautiful image. I was clashing with Mike on the same type of question.
How did you stich the frames. What software programme? I actually do alot of mosaics within a survey project. However, although I allow a 5 per cent overlap, I don't bother with stiching the frames. I imaged Comet Holmes a awhile back and used photoshop. That was neccessary in order to create lineararity throughout the image.
Well done!
