Some Lunar shots from Waterford was created by wellbuttie
Before attempting Saturn, I took the opportunity of some Lunar Imaging last night and here are the results.
Posidonius and Chacornac region
and
Craters Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina
CGE11 inch SCT, Philips SPC900 webcam. AVIs stacked in Registax, Levels and Curves in PS CS2

After one look at this planet any visitor from outer space would say; "I WANT TO SEE THE MANAGER".

Almost like being there, well done, some good detail in there.
Did you use a Barlow for these shots, x2 or x3 etc? How many frames were used to produce the final images?

Thanks mike.
Those shots were at prime focus (no barlow), they were imaged at 5 frames per second, and are a stack of about 2000 frames out of 10,000.

Some nice pics there Steve,
Were you picky on selecting the reference frame? its worth getting as sharp a reference frame as possible to get good results, I'd also stack less good frames over more lesser good frames to get a sharper resultant image.
