MX516 CCD: Value Check

Hello all,

I got hold of a Starlight Express MX516 CCD ~3 years ago with great intentions of using it all the time on my C8. I also purchased the STAR2000 autoguiding module. Shortly after I moved to Cork city and leave my C8 @ home in rural Galway, where I use it whenever I get home - but basically the MX516 hardly ever comes out of its box.

I am considering selling this on and am a bit out of touch with how much a 2nd-hand (but P.W.O.) MX516 & STAR2000 is worth. I spent a *lot* of money on the device at the time and don't want to let it go for nothing, even though it is probably a dated camera at this point.

My guess would be somewhere around the €300 mark? AI are still charging €925 for the camera alone (OK I know that is a crazy price...). Can someone suggest whether I am close to the mark of what you would expect to pay for this camera + STAR2000 package second-hand?

Actually that camera is 350 for the MX5 NEW.

The only reason the camera is 350 is because we don't deal with Starlight any more. Just with DKM & ATIK Camera's. But 300 is a good price for the camera you should not have a problem selling it.

Ah ok, I was going by the AI price advertised here . Yeah I guess 300ish would be what I'll get for it now.
