Hi all,

Great to see Carl and Dave on eclipse night (or should that be morning) in Patrick Moore's garden in Selsey. Their great sense of humour and passion for the subject really helped keep everyone's spirits up despite the horrendous hour of the eclipse. I hope you (and your gear) got back safely and look forward to our next meeting.

Despite lots of cloud and mist, there were some eclipse shots to be had. Here are the few I've processed so far...

Hi Pete,

Thanks to you and all the guys for having us over there and for the chat and fun we had all night. I'm still buzzing.

I haven't managed to write up my report yet, but it is coming soon.

Anyway thanks again and looking forward to meeting you and the guys again.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.

Seems the only place to NOT be in for the eclipse was Ireland.

Lookin forward to hearing all about the trip and seeing pics.

Nice pics BTW.

a friend in Cobh told me it was mainly clear there at 00.30 that night so maybe the south coast had a chance.
