Plato & Copernicus tonight was created by JohnMurphy
It was so cloudy tonight, I wasn't going to bother, but I persisted, got an good alignment done, and decided to put the old webcam to some use on the moon. Had to wait quite a while for cloud to clear, but when it did Plato and Copernicus screamed for attention. Sorry they're not the best but given the conditions it was as much as I could have hoped for. Equipment: C8N-GT; SPC900NC webcam; Celestron Ultima 2X Barlow.
Processing: 1,100 + frames in each shot processed in Registax 4 using multiple alignment points.

But - Highlights (highlands) are blown, focus could've been better etc. etc. When I get a shot thats as good or better than that through the eyepiece then I'll be satisfied - or maybe not

I'm afraid you have been diagnosed with 'the fever' John :P It's something that I have had to live with for years, it will cost you all your worthily goods and maybe even your house on ebay

:P
