Some nice limb activity was created by daveg
There was some nice limb activity on Saturday unfortunately 30kph winds prevented any high res shots. Note that some of these proms were already onto the visible side of the disc.

Nice work Dave.
I had a good look at the Sun today and those proms were really nice.
Hopefully it's a sign of things to come and an end to solar minimum. :)

Lookin' good Dave, haven't seen solar shots from you in a while. But there has been plenty of opportunities of late. I like the way the colour fades as it gets towards the outer edges, makes the Sun look properly spherical. Nice shot.
