Thanks Mike

I'll have a play around with the settings- especially with the codecs.
Hope it clears up tonight for saturn.

I was thinking of bringing it into the next club meeting and maybe doing a demo with a small refractor on a camera tripod for anyone who is interested.

Thats would be excellent, we could incorporate it into the monthly night section, we were going to start a club project involving abit of imaging so that would be perfect timing!.

Hi John
Here is an excellent tutorial by Mr. Mike Salway that I am sure you will find very useful, it also includes information on the settings of “IC-Capture software with examples. Well worth looking at this piece of excellent work. I think this information may have been posted elsewhere on IFAS forum, but just in case you missed it here is the link to Mike Salway’s article …

I forgot to mention that our esteemed astronomical colleague Mr. Anthony Wesley, aka “Bird” that contributes to this board also contributed to above excellent article by Mr. Mike Salway.

Great stuff John!
Now we have the laptop up and running again
we could do an imaging night while Saturn is still good.
(want to maybe put this on the main SAC board also..?)
