Sorry if this is getting boring, but I have a new toy and I have also decided to improve my knowledge of our nearest celestial neighbour!
So tonight I went for the big view and a bit of target practice with the 3x Barlow attached to the camera. This part was made more difficult by the fact that the Moon was bouncing around all over the place - much more turbulence in evidence than yesterday. Also, lurgy somewhat curtailed activities - I was pretty well wrapped up as it was and kept it short - just time for a quick look at Saturn and that was it.
Clavius
Tycho
Archimedes
Eratosthenes & the Appennnines (sounds like a '60 pop group!). The west side of Copernicus is just visible right on the terminator.

Very nice Paul, some fine detail captured there.

I never get tired of good lunar close ups. Nice shots Paul. Focus is the only issue for me, but it in itself still passes!
