Hi Frank, thanks for the kind words,and keep sending Babak
your images.As you know the Astrotrac will blurr your foreground,
not exactly what Babak is after.And yes it's great to finally see
Irish images on the site at last :lol:.

Frank i remember you mentioned going to the Burren.Did you take any images of the Dolmen?Because a startrail above that standing stone is exactly what Babak is after at TWAN.It's an image i plan to knock off my list this summer so you better be quick :lol: :lol: .Oh before i forget congrats on the images in Astronomy Now i just opened my copy a wee while ago.

He requested the Lunar eclipse one and two others so...
lets see...
Indeed, if you don't take two exposures of the same setting.
You would need to take,
One short exposure of the foreground and one long exposure of the background and then overlay the two
as done by many of TWAN team such as
Laurent Laveder, Nik Szymanek to name only two.
I plan to when I get the kit.
It's funny,
I had planned to take one up at newgrange.
A few days after I was thinking about it you posted your shots here.
We better be careful or we might bump into each other some night
out in the middle of nowhere!
