Here's a mosaic of the latest Active Regions on the Sun. They do not have spots associated with them but did release a class B flare yesterday (Sat).

PST-Meade 3x - Skynyx2-0. Taken near Birr.

A good amount of detail in there Dave. I look at it and I can feel my sunburn from today heating up :D .

I was gonna say what Frank said above. That baby would be HUGE! But, worth it.

Guys I'd need enough Sun time to do it which we just dont have at the mo. Also the PST has a sweet spot that makes it so hard to get the overall levels right. My big mosaic from last year (the one that was in S&N) took me ages to piece together - matching levels over the whole disc and at the joins of each pane. Then you'd have to do panes for the limb also especially if there's any proms. But will try it over the summer.

Stunning stuff again Dave.
I'm always shocked by the amount of surface detail you manage to pull through. I usually limit to 10 frames/sec on the Toucam because anything above that gets compressed but seeing your results I must try it with a faster rate to see if it makes a difference.

I got a quick peak at that area during the week - really nice.
