Lads,
Here is a quick run through with some photoshop processing of Saturn using my 20" scope and John's DMK camera, this was from the Burren last night.
This camera is sooo far beyond the toucam, its now on my list of things to get.
and this one out right out of registax (no photoshop) to show the image scale, no cropping or scale reducing here.
The colour balance was not right when capturing, we might have been better off increasing the brightness, but it didn't look that off on the LCD screen when we were capturing. I think of this as a first go to see how it might work.
It's also abit grainy, we could have done with alot more frames, only 800 were stacked, not alot really, the seeing was also quite variable with moments of good seeing. We used a 3x barlow on this occasion.
Many thanks John for bringing along the camera, it was certainly worth it !.
The focus might be slightly off, not surprising since I did it by eye in about 15 seconds.
Next time we'll get a killer image hopefully.

Well done Dave. You will have to show me how you resaved the files. Nice one!

Thanks for the kind comments
It seems that the resultant image was 740x480, is this the standard size of the image from the camera ?
Well, that was a small ordeal, I ran the avi through RAD tools to uncompress it and then ran it through Maximdl to convert it to BMPs. Registax was still having trouble with the avi.Well done Dave. You will have to show me how you resaved the files. Nice one!
