FWIW, I use calsky now instead of heavens-above. It's more accurate. Tested it a couple of nights ago. Heavens-above said a certain iridium flare was mag -3 and at a certain time. Calsky said it would be mag -7 and 2 minutes earlier. Calsky was correct on both accounts! Calsky will also tell you the exact location at which you can see an iridium flare at peak magnitude - neat feature!
