I'm currently processing an animation of this prom and your sketches are very like what was happening. You obviously have an excellent eye for detail.

Looking good! The only thing I'd suggest is to brighten the "context box" on the sun graphic a bit more. I didn't notice it at first.

Those sketches are fantastic! I have never had the privilege of seeing a solar prominence 'in the flesh' but spent some time a couple of years back sketching sunspot activity. If only I had known about the black paper trick then ... did all my sketches at the time on white A4 which is pretty blinding on a bright sunny day.
