Still waiting on some good sunspots to give it a good work out. Even still the solar granulation is excellent, no comparison to the baader film.

Well, they appear to be stitched together very well. Very often, I see people having a sharp edge along the edge of the disc. Your image has this edge much softer and more realistric looking.
BTW, what scope are you using the herschel wedge on?

yeah Michael its the usual faster exp for the disc and slower for the prom. Stitched together in PS.

My Celestron C100ED. BUT I had to get 2 INCHES CUT OFF the tube to allow it to come to focus. As I say cant wait to try it on a good sun spot.
I notice that too about the edges, especially when a prom appears inside the edge of the disc as with the one I've just posted. Many people seem to just stick the prom on regardless of its real position.
