AR10999 and prom - H Alpha mosaic was created by daveg
Heres AR10999 in H-Alpha and a prom that joined it on June 20th. 5 pane mosaic in awful conditions - high winds and fast moving clouds so detail not great. Even still the effect of this little fellow on the surrounding chromosphere is obvious.

Whatever about the weather Dave, you still got some fab detail in Old Sol. Any chance of a link to the larger image?

Nice one Dave. Fair play for imaging in those gusts. I wasn't brave enough.

Fantastic post-processing to merge the frames so well. I've tried in the past & it's a nightmare!
