Old M42 False Colour

HI guys! I took this image in February of 2007 and never posted it. I played aroung with the Hue and i found i could see much more detail and nebulosity in this colour!

Its my first ever photo of M42 so take it easy on me! LOL!

Very modest gear used to take this. A 5MP Sony Cybershot placed to the eyepiece of a 70mm Skylux!

Well done you got a good amount of detail in there very good for a first deep sky image.

Thanks Carl! Its been a year and a half since i took this with the most basic equipment and i just came across it mixed in with thousands of failed attempts of other objects! This is the only one of M42!

I used the sharpen facility and that was the extent of the processing!
I had good fun messing around with different colours as each diff coloour would excentuate a different area of the pic!
