8 inch dob, Kelner Super 20 wide angle eyepiece
Home made white light filter - a focal
Canon A 400 power shot
Just one photo , but 11 sketches , some by eye, some by pst , very difficult conditions , thin cloud, thick cloud , drizzle, some clear sky.
Nice to see something

Hi All,
The Ecliptomaniacs did not travel to this eclipse due to other commitments but I did manage to grab a couple of decent shots from my back garden. Here is one of them. Certainly the least expensive eclipse I have seen so far!

well done folks - absolutely nothing here in Birr until bout 11:30 that was then the Sun came out all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rain, rain and more rain all day in Naas Maybe next time I'll get to travel abroad to see one, can't wait to see all the great shots from those who did travel.
