Solar Eclipse shots from Siberia was created by Frank Ryan
Hi all.
I got around to working on a few of the shots I took of the eclipse today as I have ( a well needed!) day off.

The trip was defiantly an experience I will never forget
and some of the highs and lows will keep me in 'high stool stories' for a long while to come!

Far to many to go into here now but
essentially, it was a fab trip and I'm lucky to have
experienced it with good friends both Irish and Greek.

In terms of the Eclipse, it was a fantastic one.
The low angle made the ring of fire appear huge in the sky.
I'm too tired still to write a report but I'll get around to it over the next day or so.

Here is a sequential shot showing the whole eclipse
from our viewing site on the banks of the Ob sea around an hours drive NW of Novo.
The shadow was very distinctive, far more so than on the ocean in 1999.
If you look carefully you will see Mercury, Venus, Saturn & Mars also.
