Partial Lunar Eclipse was created by jmcc5
These photos aren't as good as Anthonys but hopefully I wasn't the only in this fair island of ours to see the eclipse (partial)

The last 2 photos are picking up a reflection from somewhere but I don't know from where or why.

Any comments or cleaning up tips welcome

Hi Joanna,

Nice set of photos!

As for the reflection, it is internal (ie. within the lens) and is something I also pick up when using my EOS EF-S 18-55mm lens (standard kit lens) in widefield mode (ie. 18mm).

As to how best to handle it, please check out the clone stamp tool as well as the band-aid tool within Photoshop. It is an easy fix and nothing to be worried about.

Joanne,
where the hell did you get such cloudless shots like that?! I'm amazed at that... The Moon looks pretty cool too! :P Colours and detail show up very well. The larger originals must be quite superb.

Cork mightn't be doing to well in the hurling but you can usually rely on clear skies Seanie.
