Anthony,
Many thanks for the references.
Its unfortunate about your weather re. possible simultaneous observations.
It's looking 50/50 here at Kingsland. Sunny and cloudy.
Hopefully the clouds will disperse as the cooler evening advances.
I will attempt the monitoring of WASP-10b this evening.
Eamonn

Anthony,
It was a partly clear sky at about 2 hours before the event and then the clouds rolled in.
I'll try for the transit for the 4th September.

Eamonn - I'll try this tonight if the weather co-operates.
Do either of you have any info on comparison stars or thoughts on which (if any) filter to use?
Dave

Hi Dave,
It is almost certain I will be out of action again this evening due to sporadic clouds. As for what filter to use etc, I would suggest something similar to Lum since the host star is relatively dim at 12.7 mag.
With respect to comparison/check stars and depending on your field of view, I used GSC 2752:73 (mag 12.0) and GSC 2752:16 (mag 12.2) respectively.
Good luck!

Thanks Anthony - I'll go with no filter this time round - mag 12.7 is bright for the 14"
I'll use your co-ordinates and I'll try for mid-transit +/- 100 minutes.
Here's hoping the weather holds up.
I'll worry about the comparisons later!

Unfortunately, Mother nature has conspired against me once again...
Better luck next time, or move to Greece
