Jupiter through the murk was created by Frank Ryan
I dusted off the ETX tonight to see could I
image the ISS and to give the scope a well needed
run through its paces.
In doing so I ran off a few quick avi's of Jupiter.
Although it was quite low, there were moments of
good seeing, mostly of course as I was observing.
Still, nice to see it again properly.

Pretty good Frank, you're doing well the capture anything at all given the altitude.

I think you did a great job as it was an ETX (125?) as it is, well done Frank.

The ETX 125 is such a great little scope on the planets / moon.
I'm pretty sure with a proper filter it'd give some decent views of the
cream bun.
I wonder is it possible to image say proms with a filter
(which one?) and the spc900?

Nice one Frank - I haven't looked at Jupiter yet this year - apart from the weekend in Greece. I must haul the scope round the front of the house next clear night for a look.
