Dave --
I'm sure there's an easier way, but what I've been doing is using the Browse... button next to "Select Image file to attach" to select the file, and then clicking the [ img ] button right next to the Browse... button. That will place an [ img ] tag in your message at the cursor.
But that doesn't quite work (for me, anyway), becuase it sticks a size="800" attribute in the final result, which seems to keep the image from being displayed. So I then re-edit my post, deleting the size="800" part, and my image then appears.
Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Hi Dave,
I meant to say great image by the way, the surface looks really "alive".
As for inserting the image I just type in the tags before and after the full http://.... address to the file on your own site.
Is the choose file supposed to allow you to host images on the IFAS server again??? You used to be able to do that before but do not know if this has been reinstated???
Neither the preview button or Choose File seem to work for me....
Anyway, roll on next solar maximum....
Michael.

Hi Carl
I dont know. I would have expected by this stage to see some spots at least. I have read some mutterings on some Sun forums about another Maunder minimum. This seems very unlikely as most Solar Astrophysisists are predicting the most active cycle in over 50 yrs. Time will tell.
I suspect its because I bought that dam herscel wedge earlier this year
