IC 1396 Color

Hi All,

I'm kinda on a roll today Here is another image I got finished. it took a long time to get all the data for this image but I'm very happy the way it turned out.

IC 1396 The Elephant Trunk Nebula in Cepheus HA (R+HA G,B ) 240:240:120:120 imaged from the 07th October through to 27 October 2008 through a William Optics FLT-110 Triplet APO refractor Atik 16Hr cdd camera. Guided with a Celestron 80ED And Sac 4.2 CCD camera with PhD guiding software On a CGE mount. Processed in Images Plus V3.5 and Photoshop CS2

Carl another first class image, you are really spitting out super images now. The new scope has given you a whole new direction, and for the best I say.

This is an impressive imaging target and will always reward the imager with a grand result. I am happy to see you also capture the small (blue) reflection nebula around the bright star near the tip of the trunk and which is missing from many other results.
