Moon Occults Venus

Well, as a few have been at it also, I was at home with the flu :silly: but I got the scope out for a small while and firstly got Venus being occulted by the moon. You can see the gibbous phase in part here...

Then later after 5pm, I shot the reappearance widerfield, I'm glad I did, It was a spectacular sight watch Venus reappear fro the bright limb of the Moon through my 15x70mm binoculars. Jupiter can be seen with it's moons top right.

I didn't get to see the occulation because of work. Venus had just started to re-appear when the clouds came in and ruined it here
