Frank, that is a stunning shot! The moon is enormous - and really looks 3D!! Exposure, contrast and the colour from its low elevation are all amazing!

You are lucky you caught him on camera. This is because he is traveling at sublight speeds due to the increased inertial mass in the back of his sleigh caused by mine and ArtyFartys's 16in Xmas Lightbridges :laugh:

You could be right, I think the white flash was

Personally I've always seen the woman in the moon clearer than the man in the moon, once you learn to identify her you'll never miss her again.
