Hi everyone, I'm looking for some free software for coverting my astro tiff files to bmp or jpeg. The only ones I can find online are for converting tiff to PDF files. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the tips guys. That's one less thing to worry about. Now I can focus on my image processing skills :)

Yep, as John said, Irfanview is the biz. I use it at home and at work.

If you're looking for something a little more automated, there is a great command-line image library called Image Magick. It can convert pretty much anything to anything from the commandline, and can be easily scripted. I use it all the time for automatically re-sizing entire folders full of images, or adding in my URL and Creative Commons notice to my photos. I even use it for adding fancy frames and drop shadows to the photos I post on flickr.

Sure, it's a tad (a lot actually) nerdy, but if you're looking to automate your image processing, it's hard to beat!
