ISS pass and M42 on Paddys Day 2009 was created by johnomahony
Here is my first ever attempt at piggyback photography on my CGE 11

Here is a shot of the ISS pass at 8.41 GMT passing below Orion. 18-55mm canon lens at F5.6 (18mm setting) ISO 400 mounted ona CGE 11

A 3 minute shot of M42 using a Sigma 70-300mm lens at 300mm. ISO 400 with a Canon 450D

Hey John

Nice shooting their, what do you use to piggyback the camera
on the telescope, i have a 450d aswell, did you buy a special
bracket or sumthing you made yoourself?

Any bigger shots John.
A spot of post processing might also help
get rid of some of the skyglow.

Hi Derek

You need a camera piggyback adapter for your telescope. Most astronomy shops can provide one for your scope. I got mine from telescope service.

Thanks John I must look in to getting one of those.

I have the same problem that your having ther with sky glow, when i take a long exposure a minute
or more its orange aswell, although i get more star trails than you DAM IT, ive been reading a lot about proccosing, stacking and so on, its very mind boggling.
