Tracking accuracy seems good John.
My suggestion would be to take more images of the same exposure.
Go for 30 x 2 mins next time.
This will help cancel out the noise and will allow you to process more detail out of the image.
I presume you save the files from the camera in a FITS format?
WHat software do you use for combining the images?
Michael.

Thanks Michael
I am saving the files from the camera in RAW format, stacking with deep sky stacker and saving in TIFF format. I then use a very basic program that came with the Canon camera to process it a bit further. I don't have photoshop or any programs like that.
30 x 2 minutes sounds good but I gaurantee that if I do that someone will recommend using 50 x 2 min etc...etc...and so on exponentially:woohoo: If only we had that much clear skies
John
Signal to noise improvement is a bit like approaching the speed of light...you just can't get there ?? : blink:
