Played around with that avi again and this time stacked best 20% of frames instead of 10%, ie 1000 instead of 300.
I also remembered I had upped the gamma during capture and reduced the gamma this time during processing.
I think this meant I got more colour without pushing the processing as much and got a more 3D looking image instead of the 'flat' image above.
