I was doing some tidying up of one of my external Hard Drives, when I came across images I took, of the Christmas Tree Cluster area, that were part of an abandoned imaging session last year. Anyway, seeing that it was a cloudy day, I decided to process them to see if there was anything that could be done, defore deleting the files. This is the result.

Taken on the 11th January 2008, using an UnModded Canon 350D, Astronomik CLS Filter, Sigma 70-300mm lens at 168mm, F6.3, ISO 1600. A Stack of 17 x 120 Second Shots

Hoping to target this region again sometime, with much more longer exposures, with the Modded Camera.

Thanks Micheal

I got rather surprised myself, when I saw the nebulosities emerging. And these images were sitting on the Drive for over a year. Bad me!!

Sometimes a cloudy day is good ;)

I hope to capture this area properly sometime.

Best regards

Steve
