Hi all
I did some Lunar imaging during the week, and targeted some areas that I have imaged before, to see if any possible progress in the "learning curve", had been taken on board by myself.
Both taken from Cherrymount in Waterford, using a CGE 11inch SCT.
This is the result.
Theophilus, Cyrillus, Catharina and friends imaged on the 28th April 2009.

And this is the same area, just over a year ago taken on Feb 13, 2008

Hi Steve, this week's shot is much better, is your processing better, or just a better camera / sky conditions? You've obviously come a long way since feb '08. The detail on the larger shot is excellent.

The first one is excellent. Nice sharp detail. Not overly sharpened. Very nice!
The second one seems to have had some movement or something in there. Looks like either there was a bit of wind when taking the image or the processing in Registax didn't align the image properly.
Massive improvement in the last year.
Michael.
