Eclipse from Costa Classica was created by nectarine
I made the mistake of coming to work today and am suffering for it.... However, will just post couple of images before I crawl home to bed. Had fantastic time - twas a great trip and Eclipse Day was perfect weather wise (apart from a small shower that crossed over us just before first contact).

Nikon Coolpix hand held to Coronado 60 Hydrogen Alpha scope.

I don't know if you'll be able to see them on here, but there were prominences at about 4 o'clock and also at 10 o'clock.

It sounds like some people weren't so lucky as us but I hope most everyone got to see at least some of the eclipse. A bonus was sailing past Iow Jima island on the morning of the eclipse. I made a little video of the horizon but couldn't load it onto Flickr for some reason. I also did some sketches which I'll try to post next week. Oh god, I'm soooo tired (but happy)..... :silly:

Best regards to all,

Bernie

Great to hear you had success Bernie!
Although we missed totality, we had a great time in China
