Dont know if I posted this or not, any way it's a final image. Usual equipment and a stack of 806 bmps.
For those who wanted them at the SDAS talk here's the relevant software.
Registax3
astronsnap Pro (or latest and last freeware astrosnap v1.3f) for aquiring avis
WCRMAC for converting to raw mode
all are freeware bar astrosnap pro but the freeware version (1.3f) is just as good. stick the names into any of th search engines and you'll get the sites.

Super image as usual Dave!
Mind me asking what f/ratio were you operating at?
I assume you used 5fps, gamma at approx midway, saturation approx at midway, shutter speed at 1/25 sec (the slowest setting) and gain set at/close to zero - is this correct?
Thanks,

Sorry Michael it was a rushed posting.
ToUCam pro in Raw mode.
everything in the middle except gain about 20% and exp 1/25th sec. at 5fps
989 frames (bmps) aquired (I used the start and stop function on astrosnap) ie i didnt aquire for a set time.
Regisatx3 settings-
gradient quality method at 80%
reference image with 50 frames
Wavelet set at 1 & 1 and used Nos. 6 2 & 1 (wavelet vle 50)
gamma reduced to .8
rgb shift estimated
auto color balance
Sautration redued slightly (this seemed to increase the detail on this particular image)
I'm hoping to gete the CG11 back from Phillip Lardner this weekend, who by the sounds of it has done trojan work on it. (removing queen wasps among other nasties from the losmandy mount). So I'm hoping to try out Jupiter next week.
