Sorry Michael it was a rushed posting.
I'm hoping to gete the CG11 back from Phillip Lardner this weekend, who by the sounds of it has done trojan work on it. (removing queen wasps among other nasties from the losmandy mount). So I'm hoping to try out Jupiter next week.
Are youy getting the mirrror re-aluminised or is it a general clean upt??

989 frames (bmps) aquired (I used the start and stop function on astrosnap) ie i didnt aquire for a set time.
Regisatx3 settings-
gradient quality method at 80%
reference image with 50 frames
Wavelet set at 1 & 1 and used Nos. 6 2 & 1 (wavelet vle 50)
gamma reduced to .8
rgb shift estimated
auto color balance
Sautration redued slightly (this seemed to increase the detail on this particular image)

That's interesting Dave! I've always had the gain down much lower. Must try a higher setting next time I'm out. Strange that reducing the saturation improved image quality. I wonder why that would be :
BTW, I got the latest version of Registax and the gradient feature works very well.
Thanks,

The scope was a CG11 at f/22
I've noticed that sometimes increasing saturation tends to blotch out finer detail. Glad that gradient is working as planned. Please let me know of any other comments/bugs etc.
The website has been let go due to the amount of work I've be doing on Registax over the last 7/8 months. I have a new page created and I'm sure I'll post it someday.
