Took these two images last night of the conjuction.

Hi,
nice picture,
I tried the same then i dicovered mercury also on this position
at the sky but very difficult to see or photograph
because it is almost lit at the backside by the sun
and its position even closer to the horizon etc.
so i prepaired a day later....
the horizon area on this picture is a little enhenced to
show the very tiny dot of mercury a little better....

p.s. the picture is automatically even more reduced to about 400pix....mmm..........
