Some Proms - May 15th

Some nice proms on the sun today. watch out for that "spewy outy" one on the NE- may mean an AR coming over the edge.

All are the PST-B90 at f/15 DMK21 camera (not enough clear skies to get a full disc too)

btw the images seem rather small when posted here??

Mind me asking what settings you use in the DMK control panel?

I actually couldnt tellya. It really depends on the prom and the seeing (Im not being evasive here!) I vary exp gamma and gain but adjust them to ALWAYS get the histogram approx 2/3 to the right. I would recommend nay insist that the histogram should be open when ever youre imaging.
Hopefully youll see what I mean in June but the settings really can change from one prom (or AR) to the next. These are of course 2 imgs one for the disc and one for the prom...

I make it a rule to take a screen grab of the
settings on the cam for each AVI I shoot.
I know this sounds nuts but it's saved my bacon a few times...
