I have been observing this hurricane like, very interesting sunspot and its surrounding pin wheel
action. Was really hoping for a few days clear viewing to do a sketch series but it has been too dam cloudy. To do this justice with a sketch I need at least one hours uninterupted observing.
The filaments are huge at the moment also , so fingers crossed for a lift in the weather.

Nice image , very Van Gogh.

That's brill, I just did an experimental painting direct to canvas , boy it is so windy today.
