A couple of Ms was created by slattts
From the weekend, Canon 10D behind the Orion ED80 with f6.3 reducer and 2" IDAS LPS pollution filter, piggybacked on an 8" LX200. Transparency pretty good, seeing as usual pretty bad.
Calibration (dark and flat frames), alignment, stacking, gradient correction and a wee bit of deconvolution in ImagesPlus. Binned (median) 2x2 and cropped somewhat for better framing.
This is M35 with a glimpse of NGC2158 alongside. Sub-images were 10 x 2 minutes at ISO 800. Imperfect gradient correction left a bit of a green cast (there's a lot of light around here folks):

And boring old M44, sub-images were 14 x 2 mins at 800:

Just thought I'd pass em along for what they're worth.
Cheers,

Denis, Those are 2 excellent shots!
I love the M35 one, it's amazing what a bit of processing can do these days
Again, Well Done!
