Yes, a very well deserved winner indeed.
The 360 degree detail in the corona around the moons edge is very well done.
Good stuff Anthony!!

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Gents,
My sincerest thanks for the kind words and congratulatory messages.
Similar to last year, I had my reservations about participating given the very one-sided rules in relation to images submitted for the competition and 20 minutes before the official close for submissions I caved-in and sent them five samples.
A couple of weeks (or so) later I was informed that three of the five submissions had been short-listed and for me to provide hires versions with further details. Not long thereafter came the news that two of the three short-listed images would place and the rest is history.
I must confess that the folks at ROG and S@N have been absolutely SUPER and my initial reservations had no basis.
As for the winning entry in the Solar System category, I had two versions of totality and they preferred the one which personally I would have not chosen.
Can I get your feedback as to your preference between (a) and (b) below? My preference is certainly for (a) since it is sharper and more detailed.
(a) www.perseus.gr/Astro-Eclipses-2008-08-01c.htm
(b) www.perseus.gr/Astro-Eclipses-2008-08-01.htm
My other entry which placed ("Highly commended" ) in the Earth and Space category is something that my buddy Frank will really appreciate and which was taken on June 26th and around three weeks before the submission deadline: www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Scenes-Sounion-08.htm .
To be totally honest, I was expecting my rising full moon photo to gather much greater interest and success than my totality result. It just goes to show you how personal factors can play a significant and unexpected role.
My third submission which only reached the short-list was my "Grazing the Umbra": www.perseus.gr/Astro-Eclipses-2009-12-31b.htm .
Anyway, my success with the competition did exceed my expectations and I am truly grateful and humbled by the way things turned out.
Many thanks once again for the kind words.
Anthony.
